Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 Aviano Italy), American actress. Her fame is as a naive character who are adorable and enjoyable. Adams was raised in Italy and her father was in the U.S. military and she was raised living in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. In the mid-1990s she began performing professionally and dancing in Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a documentary mock film that focused on beauty contests. After her screen debut that was successful where she played an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet moved into Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. Also, she raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh started her career in film after signing a MGM deal in the middle of 1940s. Her work was noticed by actress and model Norma shearer. She starred in a number of popular films during the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) and Living It Up (1954) which starred Martin Lewis.
