Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. Her father is a German cabinet maker who immigrated to USA in 1990. United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African American social worker in New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz went to Skidmore College to study French after graduating LaGuardia. Beetz began auditioning shortly following graduation, and she was then offered the part in Atlanta.
