In addition to acting, she has also worked on a number of game-based shows. As a child she grew up within Walnut Creek with her siblings as well as poet Marylee Post. She attended Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post's previous marriage was to Stephen Knox.
